Senators Just Think They Are Smarter Than Us
Isn’t it funny how politicians can sling the bull with such a straight face? I guess they think we are all stupid or something? You know there are a lot of dumb people out there and you have to wonder why we even let them vote at all? But we believe all people are created equal and they all get an equal vote?
Okay we agree to live by those rules, but for the Politicians to constantly blow smoke up everyone’s butt and think they can fool all the people all of the time with their inherent plausible deniability is absolute horse crap? These people are not smarter than us, well maybe some of us, but more they simply play the odds and hope most people are dumber or at least stupid enough to believe their BS?
Maybe they do know something about how to lie better than others and when to really turn on the bull, but it appears to me, that when they really get down to the subject matter, they don’t know very much at all except the name of the lobbyist taking them to lunch today and allowing them to use their private jet for a fishing trip to Bermuda. Political Scum, smart, maybe smarter than me, never.
We must reject these politicians when they attempt to tell us what we want to hear rather than the truth, we must throw them out of office when they cheat or we find they are corrupt. We must vote them out of office when they fail us, lie to us or renege on their campaign promises. You see it is time for Senators to stop treating people stupid and for them to start telling us the truth. Consider this in 2006.
