FutureGen Initiative; What the Heck is That?

Many Americans are not aware of the FutureGen Initiative. This initiative allows for coal-fired power plants to capture any and all emissions of carbon dioxide, meaning we can use our over abundant supply of natural coal resources near the surface to generate electricity without polluting environment. Now that is something great and is something that the Bush Administration has included in the 2007 budget.
The reason not many Americans have heard about this is because it only represents $54 million in that is a drop in the bucket considering the trillion dollar budget. However, sometimes with government works with private enterprise they are able to do a whole lot more with a whole lot less. This particular initiative is a good example of what happens when government and free enterprise private sector partnerships come together to soulful problem to help our country.
Did you know currently we have over 200 years worth of coal that is sitting right near the surface? We simply dig it up, load it on a train and ship by rail to the coal-fired electric generating power plants. And best of all it doesn’t pollute. Environmentalists are happy and all Americans will have cleaner air and abundant power.
It is great win business is in government to work together to solve the challenges we face in the future as Americans. The FutureGen Initiative is just one thing power government is doing to help us, protect our health and power up the greatest civilization ever created in the history of mankind; the United States of America. Thank you President Bush.
