Due to illegal immigration issues in the United States and the Mexican Government’s inability to do the right thing, we now have serious issues which can only be solved by creating a large buffer zone between our countries which is no less that 300 miles wide. This buffer zone must become a US Territory like Puerto Rick or Guam and no longer a territory of Mexico. I wish there were another way to deal with this, but there is not.
We must establish this buffer zone or free trade zone within the next few years. I would like to have the buffer zone line drawn 300 miles to 400 miles into Mexico. The new border will be a line across from Pedra Negras to above Chihuahua, which will then become a new border town in Mexico. From there a borderline is to be drawn to right above Guaymas, which becomes a new border town also in Mexico.
Everything in between becomes a US territory Free Trade Zone. Transition area from immigrants, live there five years without breaking the law, then you can apply. We need a transition area and buffer zone under our control. We must do this to protect the American people and not allow the civil rest going on now in Mexico to become our problem. Mexico refuses to stop the illegal drug flow into the US, refuses to honor equal no-tariff trade and is fostering and even instigating illegal immigration into the United States. Good neighbors do not do such things and we must therefore move to protect our borders and our civilization from a problem, which grows by the day. Think on this in 2006.
