Convince me to go green
I would like to induce you to go green. There are heaps of causes to live sustainably. Existing with the earth is much more than climate alteration, it is about pollution, supply management, environment management and leaving a better world for our children.
1. Impact of clothes
The manufacture of garment needs huge amount of energy, hard worker and materials, including the use of pesticides for the crops, colorants and water for coloring, and the labor environment. When you decide to purchase organic cotton in lieu of conservative cotton which is a chemical-dependent crop, you are selecting an option, that is more ecological by being simple on the earth and groundwater. The environmental effect of your clothes could be minimized by use of ecological detergents, using cold water in the clothes washer, and line drying everytime possible. Wearing used attire will lessen the number of articles going to the waste dump.
2. In a woman's life she uses more than 4 pounds of makeup (men are not far-away)
The skin being the biggest part of the body absorbs upto 60% of the articles applied on it, like shampoos, sunscreens and soaps. Taking into consideration that we generally use about 10 different products everyday, the quantity adds up to a considerable volume.
Choice of eco-friendly personal care articles means that products with plant-based ingredients are being used in lieu of those having petroleum derivatives; and the latter are prohibited from entering the skin.
3. Water is a non-renewable supply
Pure water is the most valuable supply on Earth, and with the imminent climate alteration, so on the accessibility of sufficient unadulterated water is expected to be a main {issue. When you are being water conscious, the demand on municipal treatment plants is expected to be minimized and there will be enough water for supply. By evading bottled water we can diminish greenhouse gas discharge owing to shipping, energy for meting-out plastics and the junk superfluous bottles going to the waste dump.
4. Eco-friendly articles are human-friendly too
When you are buying green and organic products you are assisting neighboring as well as international craftsmen and communities. Endorsing for fair trade articles and fair worker performances ensures that the products are not from sweated worker. Buying products manufactured in the US means the production processes are subject to stringent labor laws.
5. To leave a better world for our children!
I believe this one is self explanatory. We need to be sure our life is sustainable so there are plenty of supplies left for our children. Furthermore, we do not want to pollute the earth in such a way that our atmosphere is harmful to our children's fitness.
